Never Ending Parade of Stupid
Coming Right Atcha………

This was a quote from 'Hairspray' the Movie said by Queen Latifa’s Character. I love this and laughed for quite awhile after I heard it. It sums up a huge portion of life in general. Everyone has a moment on the other side of stupid at some point of your life. Many have more than one episode I am sure .But we stumble on in our quest for this life’s purpose.

Some of us will never find out what they are looking for. Some will never even know its even possible to question. But for those who do will have a whole new world open to them. This wide open vista will give great pleasure, opportunity for swimming the seas of experience and knowledge. Allow for Travels on dimensions unimaginable for our limited capacity on this time and place. More than our minds can hold.

The belief of something “More” is held by every belief system I am aware of. Every belief system has a framework to follow to get there. The commitment of self to that religion is to me, the same. Its al about intent The dedication of your own spirit’s energy and direction. Something to hold and carry you through the flashing's of Stupid coming atcha. I single out not one religion.

Do no harm….do no harm…There has been so much killing in the name of (Take your pick here) since the original Religion when ever that was. We can’t know that for certain of what that was as they didn't write in modern English then and I refuse to interpret the meaning of a few pictures in a cave as many religions, particularly the neo ones do.. This is pretty much the kernel of the stupid I was referring to.

Where did it say it was ok to kill and invoke a God to do so? Try forcing religions onto other’s and kill doing so & fervently believe it ok. When was it ok to criticize other’s practice of what religion they choose? Wasn't the USA begun by European Puritan’s Freedom to express? And didn't they begin by the taking away of Indigenous American’s Beliefs?(don’t fuss at me for that one, just read your history with Pagan Eyes)

Did I miss something here? What is she trying to say? What I tell pagan people friends is we must be humble. Grateful that we can cross over to other side. Live with the knowledge of spirit is real and enjoy the voice unfettered by any indoctrination but our own freewill and feel the continued thread of the universe. Knowledge that there is freedom to choose and having made our own choices, live to harm none.. And work to that goal hard from the time we affirm our belief of The Craft. Those last few words, Do no harm makes all the difference between living the Craft and any other religion you can name.

So.. side step the Stupid. If it hits you once in awhile, just let it go and forgive the one who brought into existence that inconvenience. Because the next time it could have come from you!!!!

Light and Love
